City of confluences
Discover Saint-Germain-de-Confolens through the centuries, from medieval times to its 19th-century breakthrough.
Since 2016, the communes of Confolens and Saint-Germain-de-Confolens have merged to form a single commune: Confolens. The proposed route is therefore an extension of the Confolens town center route.
The tour is unguided, so you can choose your own itinerary. Through Archistoire, you can admire the village from the old bridge; stroll through the medieval streets and discover traces of ancient shops and tanneries; reach the heights of the village, at the foot of the castle and the church, etc.
